Our Belief

India is often referred to as a “nation of youth” because it has one of the youngest populations in the world. Over 50% of its population is below the age of 30, and about 65% is under the age of 35. This demographic advantage gives India immense potential for growth and innovation, as a youthful population can drive economic progress and societal transformation.

However, to fully capitalize on this potential, India must invest in education, skill development, and employment opportunities to empower its rural youth and ensure their active participation in the nation’s development.

Rural development in India is vital for the overall progress of the country, however following challenges affecting rural youth unemployable:

  • Lack of quality education in rural areas
  • No proper vocational training.
  • Inadequate industry relevant skills.
  • Living below poverty line and infrastructure
  • Poor communication and soft skills
  • Awareness gap on career opportunities in emerging fields
  • Limited information on government skilling initiatives.
  • Rural youth joins any course without proper goal
  • Skill mismatch resulting rural youth unemployable
  • Missing mentoring and guidance to secure private sector jobs

Improving the employability of rural youth requires coordinated efforts from governments, communities, private and voluntary organizations to address these challenges holistically

Since we believe that rural youth are highly motivated and can be successful in economic development in their lives, when given the inclusive opportunities to discover their capabilities and an encouraging environment to grow, we take an initiative to set up Aspire Rural Mission for Youth Foundation as a voluntary organization.

Aspire Rural aims to engage underprivileged rural youth mentoring, employment readiness and enrichment programs to help them expand capacities, knowledge and skills.

The impact of working together to produce a more skilled and employable workforce will drive national growth and will be also helpful to break the cycle of poverty.
